Have you ever wanted to go trick or treating with your friends but don’t have the money or time to get a manufactured costume? Well, these “do it yourself” costumes might be the perfect option.

1.Big Kid Costume.

A really cheap and easy one, just look for a bathrobe and a teddy bear and you’re all set. Kinda weird though.

2. Breadwinner?

I don’t know what to say about this one. I guess you just take a phrase and make it literal?

3. A Chip on your Shoulder

Ok is this gonna be a thing now? Making phrases into literal costumes?

4. Fifty Shades of Gray

Why does this even count? This is getting old.

5. Bulletin Board

FINALLY. Something more original.

6. Hydroflask

Umm? Why would you go trick or treating as a water bottle?

7. Bob Ross and Happy Little Tree

Ooh, I like this one. Great for couples but would be fun with friends too.

8. Alien Costume

Probably the lowest budget on this list, but unless you have a small dog it won’t work, so good luck with that.

9. Lego Brick

One way to keep people from walking over you. I like it.

10. Idiot Sandwich

This is my favorite. All you need is a wig and two pieces of bread. Very affordable and funny.
