Glenwood v. Palisade Basketball Summary

The Glenwood Springs Demons Boys Basketball Team (14-3) put down the Bulldogs (8-10) on Saturday 52-39. The scoring effort was led by Seniors Patrick Young with 16 points and John Luele with 15 points. Will Narvaez and Adam Schraedar also shined as they had 8 rebounds a piece to give Glenwood the edge in the game. The other big highlight of the game was Patrick Young going 6-for-6 on free throw attempts as he was no doubt the MVP for that particular game. The game was low scoring in the first half with Glenwood down 17-18 however the Demons rallied in the 3rd and 4th scoring 35 points compared to only 21 by the opposing Bulldogs. The Demons will take the fight to Summit Highschool on Tuesday as they attempt to take down the Tigers (9-7) on their battle to jump over Longmont in the state rankings.
